Historical Court, “Spagnolina” is situated next to the bank of the Po river , on the ancient Roman’s way Palantone (the name was given because of the Poles driven into the ground in order to support the passage near the River) who connected a landing of the big Po River with the Vigarano’s settles.
The name Spagnolina used to be reported already by the Napoleon’s Cartographers, but the etymology is not certain.
You can see the banks of the Big River from the Court and the “Big Porporana Wood” is a rare evidence of the spontaneous flora and fauna and inside it you can see a cycle-path that leads you either to Ferrara or to Bondeno .
